Is it suspicious that the only good reviews that appear on this website are invited? If Milk & More were that good customers would offer reviews without invites. Are these reviews even real?I originally reviewed Milk & More three years ago because their billing system collapsed leaving loyal customers without deliveries or explanation; often they blamed their customers for their faults. There was never an apology or compensation, and I even had to chase them for a refund for the milk they didn’t deliver. Looking at recent reviews it seems these billing issues persist three years later. To prevent this from happening to me again I changed from being an online customer to a doorstep customer, still paying by direct debit, and started receiving a much better service where there were no billing problems and milk deliveries never stopped even if there were. But now I am being forced back onto the online system, without consultation or consideration. The benefits of being online are stated as:- Cheaper fresh milk- Access to online exclusives- Ability to change your order up to 9 pm the night beforeMy response to these are:- We already pay 81p per pint. It is not cheap! We pay this for an increased quality of service and daily (recently two-daily) deliveries. But we don’t get the quality of service you would expect for paying this premium, particularly if you’re an online customer. Will the price go down when everyone is an online customer? I doubt it. This is all about maximising profits by minimising costs, not about reducing prices for the customer. It doesn’t even guarantee a good income for British dairy farmers.- I want milk. That’s it! I’m not interested in any online exclusives. And why do you exclude doorstep customers from these anyway? All you have to do is leave a note when delivering the milk. This is not an advantage, it’s blatant discrimination to loyal customers.- Why 9 pm? As a doorstep customer I can leave a note out at midnight, or even 1 or 2 in the morning. 9 pm is not an advantage, it is very early. It should be midnight at the earliest. Again, very poor customer service to loyal customers. So why are they doing this? To increase profits obviously. I wouldn’t mind if this increased the income was going to British dairy farmers to give them a more stable income and reduce stress and suicide rates, but it doesn’t. M&M are ignoring the elderly who do not have Internet access, cannot use computers, and whose daily deliveries are a vital sign that something has gone wrong if the milk isn’t taken in. To force them to source alternative ways to get milk delivered in the middle of a pandemic is immoral, given the doorstep delivery slots from every supermarket and online grocery are booked up for months. It’s disgraceful; but nothing surprises me with Milk & More anymore. Anything to increase profits for their German owners Müller, to move profits from the UK to Germany instead of investing in our country. So I will have to convert back to being an online customer. There is a £10 bribe, but the small print states that this will be applied to an additional online order on one day and you will only get the full amount if your order exceeds £10. Yet another kick in the teeth for loyal customers who just want their regular order and have been ordering milk from the company from when it was Unigate, then Daily Crest, and stayed loyal despite the debacle that is Milk & More.I see how things go and update this with a more favourable review if things are better than expected. Given recent reviews I wouldn’t recommend holding your breath. If I find an alternative milk delivery service in Southampton without the obvious faults of Milk & More I will let their customers know. They, and I, deserve much better than this treatment.

I have tried on a number of occasions to phone Milk & More and have NEVER had anyone answer the phone. They even state on their website 'We are experiencing high call volumes etc' so I guess this has become a permanent state of affairs meaning 'don't even bother trying'. My delivery didn't show up today and there is no way to contact them about it. I shall be leaving a final note for our milkman saying Goodbye.Milk & More responded to this comment asking for more information which I provided. That was two weeks ago and I've heard nothing since.

Their loss.
It's all very well wanting to support your local farmers, but when the food delivered is not even up to basic food standards, then it's your health you're putting at risk. One more than one occasion we've had stomach upsets and food poisoning, and for a while weren't sure where it came from.
Are these farmers honestly expecting you to just hand over your cash and damage your health blindly to support them? Or are they aware of how poor this system is, and are just that desperate? Either way, this is not a not a good way to support local farms.
The produce goes off super fast, it's left on your doorstep in unhygienic conditions and at the mercy of local animals and insects, and there's no telling of how quickly the food has to be eaten before it completely goes off. They completely ignore your preferences on delivery date, and then try and hold you accountable for not taking steps that you weren't even aware you were meant to take.
Total scam - they want your money, but don't want to take any of the responsibility for their produce. This is why we have huge businesses who supply food in the first place - for people's safety, who take responsibility and don't shove the blame onto everyone else and expect consumers to carry them through life.
I do genuinely feel sorry for farmers, but here's my advice - times are changing, get a real job.
After receiving a leaflet through the door, I decided to place an order. It arrived on time and the items were fine. I placed a second order, but the fruit and veg was of mixed quality and wasn't very fresh. I contacted customer services, but no one replied. After several months, I decided to place another order. The fruit and veg started to decay within 24 hours and the aubergines had to be binned. Items were also missing. Again, I contacted customer services and received no response.
I would not recommend this organisation.
Iv ordered only 3 times from this company, 1st 2 times was brilliant. No problems, 3rd time no body turned up.
When phoned them at 9ish, I was told that there was a problem with the van starting. Well if your a multi sized company (freshways) your vans should be fully serviced and spare few vans on site. But after reading these reviews, isit really or has the driver got to drunk of done for drink driving, guess will never find out, another curupt company that sweeps everything under the carpet. Here you should sell brooms instead, may do your workers good to sweep up the beer cans and hide all the crap.
Derek the manager, allowed the Supervisor and employees to bring in crates of beer, drinking them on site while picking milk like it's a party.
He was fully aware of their conduct. These men was doing this in front of everyone! Going out on the road driving too! He is still the manager? While these men have thankfully been dismissed. It's very concerning that a manager who allowed this conduct is still in position? He would stand talking to these men after they had consumed multiple beers after their rounds, they was disposing of cans in the onsite bins. Walking round with them openly.
Let's not forget the racial slurs they like to make about anyone who isn't white British. You'll often find billy smoking all over the depot, around the products too, in the fridges.
Vans are not road worthy, report your brake pads and get a sensor changed? Make it make sense. 3 times I reported my brakes and they failed on me, thankfully on a straight road. I was then told to drive it back to the depot? Like what? The breaks completely failed, everything was beeping and you want me to drive it back? No worries the alckys turned up, cans in Hand with another van. Within hours the clutch went leaving me sat around for hours unable to do my job. You follow what the supervisor tells you, then the managers want to pull you in for misconduct? Maybe the managers should make sure their supervisors are sharing correct relavant information with employees?
The whole depot has no management, every one does as they please. 3 trolleys for 28 drivers to move milk, finally after a year got 3 new 1s. Since freshways have taken over it's got even worse. We now give mcqueens products. Don't expect no thanks for being good at your job, getting your calls done efficiently. They'll just give you even more calls, expect you to take other drivers calls that can be 20miles off your route for 1 bottle of milk. Honestly I'd avoid this company at all costs. The drivers safety and wellbeing means nothing, I reported being harassed by some teens twice then threatened with a knife by the same teens to the manager and was asked if I could "take a picture" of them next time..... excuse me? What? Of course I stated I would NOT be going back to that location again. So if you fancy a van that's not fit for purpose, no management and no care or consideration for your life head to milk and more. So yeah great company.

Have used Milk and More for several years and been happy with the service. Over the past few months, we've noticed the milk going off before it's best buy date.
I contacted customer services and got a reply which was basically a voucher. I'm really reluctant to leave them, our milkman is great. The voucher is a nice sweetener but if the quality doesn't pick up, we'll have to leave.

We have had exactly the same experience, used to be very good but since October milk has been going sour well before the date on the cap.
Cusromer Services said they had other reports of this and would contact their supplier.
Received a refund for this week's milk which was undrinkable after 2 days.

They emailed a discount code to return to their service (I was a previous one-off customer - they had missed an item and delivered bread with the bag ripped open). I received the 40% discount code and was advised I had 6 days to use it and attempted to use it the next day. I added it at checkout, it didn't apply or indicate it did not work and instead they just charged the full amount. I then contacted customer service and was told 'I can confirm that the promo code COMEBACK40 is no longer working as it has reached the maximum entries.' I hadn't used it (I had only received it a day earlier), they never contacted people to advise they were withdrawing their promotion instead just charged the full amount in the hope you would not notice. They are a scam. Their products are delivered damaged, they miss items, they are overpriced and they have false advertising. The customer service is also appalling.
Title: Warning: Unreliable Service from Milk and More — We Will Not Be Returning
We were once loyal customers of Milk and More, relying on their app to manage our daily milk and grocery deliveries. Before a recent holiday, we used the app to cancel our orders for specific days. The app greyed out those dates, confirming, or so we thought, our cancellations. Imagine our shock upon returning to find over a week's worth of spoiled deliveries on our driveway — sour milk, melted butter, and debris from animals.
We sought help from Milk and More's customer support, but their response was abysmal. They insisted on knowing if we had notified them of our holiday by email, even though we had followed the cancellation procedure in their app to the letter. We used the "Cancel all today's orders OK" feature for the days of our holiday, trusting this would halt our deliveries.
This has been a dismal one-star experience. The customer support was dismissive and evasive, showing no empathy or willingness to resolve the situation. The app, which once seemed a convenience, utterly failed us at a critical time.
After this horrendous experience, it is clear that we can no longer trust Milk and More. This ordeal has entirely eroded our faith in their service and, as a result, they have lost us as customers. We will never use their services again.
To potential customers considering Milk and More for their needs, this is our warning: Proceed with caution. Our experience suggests that the company lacks both a reliable service and competent customer support. It's not worth the risk, and we strongly advise looking elsewhere.
No-show deliveries for over a month now and despite complaining several times, no change. When I've not had a delivery I've also only been half-refunded. I've tried and tried to explain and be patient, but after two months, I'm tired, broke and still haven't got my deliveries. NOT GOOD ENOUGH M&M.
Incredibly sad about it, since I was such a fan last year.
Moving to Jones Bros.

Excellent service. Great selection, especially with dairy alternatives which is what I used it for primarily.

Being of a certain age am very grateful to still have milk and lots more delivered, once or twice we've had problems on where milk is left and once wrong delivery, but now all seems on even keel . I do appreciate moving with times is inevitable but am only using it because I have to would much rather be leaving note in bottle and paying my milkman myself, more friendly and personal.

Completely reliable and brilliant choice of goodsI’m so pleased to have made the switch to delivered milk, and therefore use less plastic
